Doug Robson is a former Pro Bodyboarder from Cronulla and one of the pioneers of the relentlessly heavy reef break, Shark Island. Back in the 90’s Doug was a fearless charger out the Island until a horrific accident shattered his spine.
‘As i tried to just push out of it the wave it sucked me back over with the lip and basically landed on my ass and shattered up my spine’ Doug discusses.
