Surfers Describe What It’s Like To Surf Jaws

Pe’ahi, better known as Jaws, is well known for being one of the world’s heaviest breaks. It’s skyscraper-sized waves attract the best big wave surfers from around the globe, and every time it’s hit with a solid swell, you know it’s going down.

Although it’s great to watch the likes of Kai Lenny, Shane Dorian or Albee Layer charging such a big wave from the safety our TV’s or computer screens, it’s hard not to wonder what it would be like to actually catch one of these waves, or even just sit out in the line-up and feel the waves sheer strength. Given most of us will likely never get to experience this, the following video might put you one step closer to knowing what it’s like. Told by two of the best: Kai Lenny and Francisco Porcella (with of course some heavy wipeout footage), this one is a must-see.
