World Record Slackline In The Utah Desert

On November 15, 2015 French daredevil Théo Sanson walked nearly 500 meters on a slackline rigged from The Rectory to Castleton Tower in Castle Valley, Utah. The distance is the equivalent to just under five football fields, and although not confirmed, it’s likely a new world record. Rigging the line was apparently such a big job that the team say it’s perhaps as significant a feat as walking it. Check out the video below that captures the incredible walk, as well as the amazing Utah desert scenery, which alone is enough reason to watch.
