Alby Falzon On The Man, The Legend, The Artist Michael Peterson

The 70’s, what a time to be alive. Alby Falzon was shooting for his cult classic surf film ‘Morning Of The Earth’ and Michael Peterson was regarded by many as the world’s most advanced high-performance surfer of that era. The Aussie duo had no idea that this memorable session at Kirra would have such in impact on a generation of surfers.

Years later Alby Falzon goes onto discuss the talent of the late M.P.

‘He was an absolute artist when you think about it, he was so introverted in lots of ways…I would consider him one of the most intelligently creative people in the surfing period, he was like an artist the way he used the wave and his ability as a surfer to reflect what he really was’ – Alby Falzon
