Jerry Hsu is an absolute legend. Not many people are aware of the struggle he went through in order to film his part in Emerica’s ‘Stay Gold’. While filming his part he sustained a number of injuries, had to get ankle surgery, and three knee surgeries. As a result of not having the strength in his knee to skate regular, Jerry skated switch for his whole part. For those unaware, switch stance involves skating the opposite way to how you would usually, and it’s a hell of a lot harder. This clip’s from the intro to Jerry’s part, and gives us a glimpse into the struggle that he had to endure in order to film the part.
