This place is next level, skaters young and old travel from around the world to skate this spot for it’s look-a-like set up to the god father of DIY’s, Portland’s Burnside.

FDR was built in the 90’s as a slab of concrete under the I-95 overpass in Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park, a few miles from downtown Philly. The local skate community saw the opportunity and developed it over the years to what it is today, one of the best DIY’s in the world. The video above (of Cali Kid, Greyson Fletcher) shows how intense and extremely difficult this set up is.

A bit of skate history that’ll be around for years to come and only get better. Throw this one on your bucket list, but be prepared, it sits on expert level.
