MTB Trials Legend – Hans Rey

Hans Rey is definitely a big name when it comes to MTB. He is the precursor of trials and extreme mountain biking, and was one of the first to produce action videos of his trials biking and extreme biking skills.

Born in Germany, it’s only when he moved in the US that he started to experiment with his bike. Since then, he has traveled to over 70 countries and has been featured on approximately 350 magazine covers.

He has done a first descent on bikes of Mount Kenya, traversed the Sinai Desert in the footsteps of Moses, created the No Way Transalp route, searched for headhunters in Borneo, ridden the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, in Mount Kilimanjaro, Roop Kund trek in the Indian Himalayas, Bike Safari in Botswana, Rubicon Trail in California, Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan, Cuba’s Sierra Maestra Mountains, Annapurna Trek in Nepal, Copper Canyon Mexico, 5 volcanos in 5 days in Ecuador, and many more glaciers, volcanos, hot lava and boiling ocean.

In each of his movies he is experimenting new terrain…
With always humour and fun…
Always pushing the limits of the sport…
And inspire generations of riders to come…
